MCMH Emergency Services is equipped with the latest in emergency equipment. A
trauma room is designed for quick and comprehensive delivery of care 24 hours a day.
The Emergency Services garage provides easy ambulance access to the hospital. A licensed
helicopter pad allows efficient patient transportation to another facility if the need arises.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support nursing staff and physicians deliver 24-hour skilled care.
Physicians staff the Emergency Services Department on an on-call basis throughout the
week.
Primary call coverage is a coordinated effort between contract physicians and local medical
staff members.
