At MCMH, the laboratory is an essential part of your total health care. The laboratory is staffed
by highly educated and trained medical laboratory technicians and a medical technologist to
perform routine testing. Laboratory services are available to patients at MCMH seven days a
week. After-hours testing and emergency testing is available 24 hours a day by on-call
personnel. Lab personnel will work closely with other hospital personnel to ensure you recieve well-coordinated
care while your at MCMH.
In addition to our standard laboratory services, MCMH offers an innovative service called Direct Access laboratory testing.
With this service, patients are able to proactively choose their own laboratory tests from a select menu and monitor their own health at a reduced cost.
People may come to the hospital Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for Direct Access testing; appointments are not required.
