Diagnostic imaging has become an increasingly important tool for your doctor to detect and
more accurately treat your medical condition. More than just traditional X-rays can assist your doctor while you're at MCMH. Highly trained, fully licensed radiologic technologists will
assist patients staying at MCMH with each diagnostic test. An in-house CT scanner enables
doctors to handle an emergency or medical condition with precision and accuracy. Mobile x-ray
equipment enables imaging to be performed in surgery and in critical care. These, along with
general, advanced X-ray and mammography, ultrasound and bone densitometry, can be provided on a routine seven day-a-week
basis and on call 24 hours a day.
Direct Access Diagnostic Testing services allow patients to have Carotid Artery and Abdominal Aortic screening tests done without a physician referral. These tests are available by appointment Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Call (320) 693-4519 to make an appointment.
Nuclear medicine and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology are mobile services that come to MCMH on a regular schedule and are available to inpatients and outpatients.
