Visiting Hours, Guidelines and Restrictions
|
Meeker County Memorial Hospital welcomes visitors and
understands that visiting friends and loved ones play an
important role in speeding your recovery. We know how
eagerly you look forward to such visits, and we ask that
your visitors observe all visiting hours and rules.
Visitor Hours
- General Visiting Hours
11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Maternity
3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Father, siblings and grandparents may visit at anytime (upon patient and nurse discretion).
- Critical Care Unit
Fifteen-minute intervals every hour around the clock (immediate family may visit, at nurse’s discretion).
- Center for Senior Behavioral Health
6 to 8 p.m. daily Additional times from 1 to 3 p.m. on weekends (Children under 12 years of age should not visit.)
Visitor Guidelines
We recommend only two visitors at a time per visit. People
with colds, sore throats, flu or other contagious illnesses
should not visit. Keep visits brief; this allows for the rest
patients need during recovery. In consideration of other patients, please keep conversations
as quiet as possible.
Visitor Restriction Guidelines
Please tell your nurse if you wish to limit your number of
visitors or allow only certain visitors.
Pediatric Care
We encourage parents of patients ages 7 years and
younger to stay with their children as much as possible. We
can provide beds for one parent to stay overnight as well as
bath facilities. Meals will be provided, free of charge, for one parent.
Additional Recommendations for Visitors
If you have upper respiratory symptoms, please refrain from visiting the hospital.
If you do visit, please cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, or wear a mask to protect others.
Masks are available at the Admitting desk or at the nurse’s desk on the third floor.
Thank you for doing what you can to protect yourself and others.
