Patient Safety
|
Your safety is important to us. When you are a patient at Meeker County Memorial Hosptial (MCMH), we want you to receive the best and the safest care possible. The patient safety program at MCMH exists to improve patient safety and reduce actual or potential risk to our patients. The patient safety plan provides a systematic, coordinated and continuous approach to the maintenance and improvement of patient safety. We have committed to the goals established by 2005 Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals.
Patient Safety Goals:
- Improve the accuracy of patient identification
- Improve the effectiveness of communication among caregivers.
- Improve the safety of using medications
- Improve the safety of using infusion pumps
- Reduce the risk of health care-associated infections
- Accurately and completely reconcile medications across the continuum of care
- Reduce the risk of patient harm resulting from falls
